This is Paco, Alli named him herself; it was her valentine's gift, and her first pet. When we asked her what she wanted to name her fish, she was very adamant on "Paky", but she switched to Paco. Now when ever she sees pictures of fish she thinks that all their names are Paco; she does know they are fish, however.

How fun - a first pet! And a cute name too.
All of my pet fish were named Fred. I think it made it easier to think that they could just be replaced by another "Fred" when things didn't work out.
And all but one of Julia's bettas were named Rainbow...Rainbow 2...Rainbow 3...well, you get the picture. After Rainbow 8 she decided it wasn't such a lucky name. She got one for Valentine's Day, also and she named it Pucky 2, after Alli's fish. :)
