More Ketchup Obsessions and Cooking Lessons from Alli

Allison was dipping apples in ketchup again. She proceeded to tell me how creamy and yummy it is. Then she said the following:

"Mom?"
"Yes?"
"If there is no more Ketchup in the world, then all we have to do is make some more, don't worry."
"um.. ok!"
"See., first you have to get on the computer and get on the blog and look up a recipe for ketchup."
"That would be a good idea. How would you make ketchup?"

"you just put some... um... tomatoes, and you just ...um....squash them...but you need a squasher...but we just don't have a squasher so we can't squash them so we need to get a squasher...um...then you can squash and squash... (thoughtful look)....but I don't know why we need a squasher, and if we don't have a squasher then we just don't squash them! ...so when the tomatoes are all squashed we have to go to the store and get a ketchup bottle so we can squeeze the ketchup out.... then we can have lots and lot of ketchup"

Ha ha! I love it! It's a good thing Alli knows how to make ketchup because a world without ketchup is no world at all!

Alli's obsession with ketchup is pretty funny. Especially apples and ketchup. Hmmmmm. Kinda silly. :)

i used to baby sit kids that ate ketchup on their mac and cheese - especially if it was that Kraft kind in a box. It acutally still turns my stomach to think of it.

You know the biggest problem in Justin and Alicia's marriage is that she puts ketchup on her tacos instead of salsa. Love, Charlotte
